Taranga — तरंग, wave — is a venture of Aitele Research. We make graphics-and-inference silicon affordable in the deepest sense: open designs, pocket-money hardware, and arithmetic priced in single gates — for the classrooms, satellites, and instruments the GPU industry doesn't look at.

Four reviewers made this design correct — one demanded the analysis that caught a result-halving bug. We publish the response letter beside the paper and run the company the same way.

The RTL, the flow, the guide — all open. Anyone can rebuild our numbers; that is precisely why they can trust our silicon. We sell kits, integration, and what we'll build next, not secrecy.
Niches, named precisely
We say 'minimum-silicon, reliability-critical, display-class' instead of 'revolutionary GPU'. Markets forgive small claims that hold; they never forgive large ones that don't.
Hardware claims wait for hardware
Timing closure and measured power are pending — so they appear nowhere as achievements. When the board lights up, the measurements go on this site, whatever they say.

Open research + the Taranga Dev Kit
The peer-revised paper, all RTL, and every reproduction script are open. The first product is the kit form of the build guide: FPGA board, VGA DAC stage, host MCU, and the manual — a complete GPU you assemble and own, for the price of a textbook.
Silicon IP licensing
The SC compute fabric as licensable RTL for SoC corners where it honestly wins: instrument-cluster displays, fault-tolerant space and industrial controllers, voltage-overscaled wearables. Priced per design-in, with our gate-level characterization flow included.
Taranga-1: the physical chip
After FPGA validation closes (timing, measured power — in progress, not claimed), a small ASIC tape-out of the SC fabric on a multi-project shuttle: a radiation-tolerant display-and-inference co-processor measured in square millimeters, not reticles.
The through-line: every stage sells what the evidence already supports, and funds the validation of the next claim — never the other way around.
